DIRECTIONS TO THE CITIZEN ADVOCACY CENTER The Citizen Advocacy Center is located in a storefront in downtown Elmhurst at 182 N. York Road. We are on the west side of the street, just past the Shell station. 182 N. York Road is 1¾ blocks south of North Avenue (Route 64), and about ¾ of a block south of the Elmhurst City Hall (Third Street) in Elmhurst. From downtown Chicago, take the Eisenhower (290 West) to North Avenue (64) West. Proceed west on North Avenue for approximately a mile until you reach the intersection of North Avenue and York Road. Turn left (south) and the Citizen Advocacy Center is on the right (west) side of York, after you pass the first light. From west of Elmhurst, take Route 83/Kingery Highway to North Ave. Turn east. Travel about one mile east to York Road. Turn right (south) on York Rd., and the Center is in the middle of the third block on the right, just past the Shell station. From north of Elmhurst, take 294 south, exit 290 West, keep right and exit immediately at North Avenue (Route 64). Continue on approximately 1/3 mile to the intersection with York Rd. Turn left (south) on York Rd., and the Center is in the middle of the third block on the right, just past the Shell station. Parking: is available on York Rd or on side streets By Train: Take the Geneva line (from NorthWestern station in Chicago) to Elmhurst. Walk north on York Rd three blocks.
